Off-the-chart attention to detail; a perfect marriage of comfort and cosy

Behind all the pretty rustic craftsmanship pulses state of the art off-grid technologies to allow it's owner to enjoy all the luxuries of a modern home but sustainably; both reducing their carbon footprint and also making expensive energy bills a thing of the past.

Sally came to us fresh from the owners stables, complete with hay and horse poop! Wanting to enjoy her retirement from a long career in nursing, our lovely client wanted us to retain the horse-box style look from the exterior so she could blend seamlessly into her surroundings; but then be transported into a cosy, warm and inviting home once entering the door. As well as the usual House-Box off-grid technologies we installed to allow all the creature comforts of a traditional bricks-and-mortar home; Sallys large footprint allowed us to deviate from traditional layouts to optimise it’s owners living experience. This included a dedicated porch area behind the side entrance with a trigger shower, so when she returned from working with her horses or a long muddy walk with her dogs; she had a dedicated area to freshen up outside of the main habitation area, in addition to a generously sized bathroom with piping hot shower and composting lavatory.
